Poznań Palm House

The Palm House in Wilson Park has operated since 1911. It covers 4,600 m² and is the largest palm house in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.

Temporarily closed

The Palm House is temporarily closed to visitors because of rebuilding work (announcement of 31 August 2026). No reopening date has been announced.

About the place

About 1,100 plant species grow in 12 pavilions. The aquariums hold 170 species of fish.

The Palm House was closed once before, in 1978, because of the poor condition of its structure. After rebuilding in 1983–1992 it reopened in October 1992.

Good to know

Wilson Park, where the Palm House stands, is open as usual.

The Palm House will announce the opening date on its website.
