What to see
The permanent exhibition occupies almost 1,500 m² in the joined Raczyński building and Przemysł Castle: 18 spaces on four floors.
The narrative is chronological and thematic. Each period has threads connected with the ideas, trends and artistic achievements of its time. The collections include furniture, ceramics, glass and jewellery.
Part of the exhibition concerns King Przemysł II and the sign of the White Eagle, as well as the history of Poznań castle from the 13th century to 1945 and post-war concepts for its reconstruction.
After seeing the exhibition you can climb the 43-metre castle tower with its viewing terrace.
