The Maltanka is a narrow-gauge park railway run by MPK Poznań. It runs along Lake Malta between the Maltanka and Zwierzyniec stations, next to the entrance of the New Zoo.
Temporarily closed
The 2026 season ended on 27 September, so the railway is not running now. It starts again in spring (in 2026 the first run was on 12 April). The 2027 season dates will be announced by MPK Poznań.
The 2026 season ran from 12 April to 27 September, and from 24 April the railway ran every day.
Since the 2026 season you can buy a return ticket. Tickets are sold at both terminal stations.
On the way the railway passes close to the Malta Thermal Baths.
