Important before you go
For individual visitors the Stronghold is open from May to September, on Saturdays and Sundays and every day in July and August. From October groups can visit only by prior booking (until the end of October).
What to do
Foam-sword fights in a special arena, shooting with a bow, a crossbow and a catapult.
Hire of medieval costumes and a game of catching wooden fish in a pond.
A campfire with shows of historical cooking and a souvenir shop.
Good to know
There is a covered shelter on the grounds, and in bad weather you can use the educational room. Toilets are in the neighbouring Miniature Park. Parking at the site is free.
The Stronghold accepts organised groups from April to October by prior booking. Its website honours the Poznań Tourist Card and the Large Family Card.
A catapult shot costs PLN 10, and a campfire PLN 150. Organised groups are accepted from April to October, 8:00–20:00, by prior booking (601 377 802 or biuro@grodpobiedziska.pl).
