Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa

The National Museum of Agriculture and the Food Industry in Szreniawa was established in 1964 and has had national museum status since 1975. It has gathered more than 20,000 objects on the history of the Polish countryside and agriculture. It is the only agricultural museum of this rank in Poland.

Important before you go

The Bierbaum mausoleum tower (a viewpoint) is closed for renovation from 14 July 2026. From 1 December to 15 February the museum receives only groups that have booked in advance.

What to see

Pavilions with exhibitions on old agriculture, machinery and food processing.

A palace with an exhibition, and a cowshed with animals.

Good to know

On Saturdays admission is free, except on days of ticketed events.

A walking ticket (PLN 7) lets you onto the museum grounds, but not into the pavilions, the palace and the cowshed. It is not sold on festival days.

The museum is a partner of the Poznań Tourist Card. You can pay by card at the ticket office, and the last entry is half an hour before closing.
