Collegium Altum Viewing Terrace (UEP)

The viewing terrace on the 18th floor of the Collegium Altum of the University of Economics shows Poznań in all four directions. After many years it was reopened to visitors on 16 June 2025.

About the place

The Collegium Altum is a red tower block with a façade of red metal panels and a steel structure. It is a distinctive element of the city's skyline.

The terrace is on the 18th floor, next to the lift hall. For many years it was closed to visitors. The official opening took place on 11 June 2025, and the terrace opened to visitors on 16 June.

What to see

From above you can see, among other things, the Old Market Square, Ostrów Tumski with the cathedral, the Royal Castle and the Imperial Castle, Plac Wolności, the Okrąglak, Stary Browar, the Grand Theatre, Poznań Główny station, the Poznań International Fair, the City Stadium, the Citadel and Lake Malta.

The official list on the terrace's website covers more than 30 places, including the Warta, the Town Hall and Ławica Airport.

Good to know

Individual visitors can use the terrace every day from 9:00 to 19:00. The terrace's website announces a change of hours from 1 September 2026. The FAQ tab on the same site gives older hours (Mon–Fri 12:00–20:00, Sat–Sun 9:00–20:00), so it is worth phoning before your visit.

Individual tickets are bought from ticket machines in the lift hall on the 18th floor (you can pay by card and contactless), and no reservation is needed. A ticket entitles you to one uninterrupted entry and must be kept until you leave.

On weekdays between 9:00 and 12:00 everyone pays the reduced price. The reduced price also applies to, among others, children over 3 and young people with an ID card, people with disabilities (with one carer), pensioners and holders of the Large Family Card. On Tuesdays students pay PLN 10, and UEP students enter free of charge.

Organised groups (at least 10 people) book a visit online at least 3 days in advance. A group visit lasts 45 minutes and takes place on weekdays 9:00–12:00. Guided tours are for groups only.

The building has a ramp and a lift, and the whole terrace is accessible to wheelchair users. Dogs are not allowed, except marked assistance dogs. Taking photographs is permitted.

Parking: ul. Towarowa 55.
