The animals
The enclosure was founded in April 1977 in view of the growing number of bison and to disperse their breeding. By the end of 2024, 128 bison had been bred here, 114 of them born in Gołuchów.
Besides the bison you can see Polish ponies, fallow deer and wild boar. You watch the animals from marked paths.
Good to know
The enclosure is open every day, from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free. About 120,000 people visit it every year.
At the entrance you must walk across disinfecting mats. Children up to 12 may stay on the grounds only under adult supervision.
It is forbidden to feed, touch or scare the animals, to take photographs with flash, and to move off the paths. Pets are not allowed (except guide dogs), nor are cycling, rollerblading or riding a scooter.
Next door is the Forestry Museum in the former farm buildings (Tue–Sun 10:00–16:00, full ticket PLN 25, reduced PLN 18) and the free park-arboretum. Gołuchów Castle is a separate museum.
